Is the Sahara desert safe to visit?
Merzouga is a well-established destination and every activity is led by local guides. The real risks come from nature: heat, strong sun, cold nights and the odd sandstorm. Drink plenty of water, listen to your guide, and tell us about any health conditions when you get in touch.
What's the difference between a private and a shared tour?
A private tour gives you your own vehicle and driver. You pick the date and can change the stops. On a shared tour you travel by minibus with other travellers on a set date and itinerary, and it usually costs less.
Is my booking confirmed when I send a request?
No. A request or WhatsApp message is just an enquiry. We reply with availability, what's included and the price, and the booking is only confirmed once you accept in writing.
Can you cater for vegetarians or food allergies?
Usually, yes. Tell us in advance so the camp or host can prepare. If your requirements are strict, we'll confirm them with you in writing before you book.
